June is a time for praise towards God and humility as a person. Pride is a great sin that encourages people not only stay in sin but that they express it openly and shamelessly. This is not a condemnation of people but instead their sin and the immoral acts they commit continuously and unrepentantly.

This does not diminish your humanity or your dignity, but it does show your lack of care and humility. I’m not calling for you to be shamed or for you to go into hiding, but instead that you simply step away from this sin as best as you can. Lust is a stumbling block for many and it destroys lives, relationships, opportunities, and families. Please don’t let lust have you in shackles while pride has you believing that you’re truly free. We are slaves to sin and the only way to break free from this world of misery and pain is to voluntarily approach and accept Christ as our Lord and us as His voluntary servant.

Know that the only thing deserving of your following and your servitude is the One Who humbled Himself, Who is the same One Who gave you the choice of freedom in Life or in death. He gives you the choice of to be a volunteer to life and hope or to be a slave to something destructive and hateful.

“You have heard it said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ but I tell you that whoever looks at women to list for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin pluck it out and cast it away from you, for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than your whole body be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you thst one of your members person, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. Matthew 5:27-30
